What makes us different?

• We're passionate…not just about our craft and services, but also about the faces, the dreams, the memories, the music, the humour and the hopes of our customers.

• We're a specialist company, founded with the sole purpose of helping people remember and be remembered. We're not a wedding video producer, corporate video company, Cd/VHS/DVD technical reproduction company, vanity publishing or bored film school grads doing this as a sideline. This kind of work is all that we focus on.

• We take extra special care of your photos, memorabilia and videos, it's the little things we do, for example, we don't allow coffee or liquids anywhere near the work rooms, that stand us apart. Another example is that as soon as we have opened your envelope or package of photos, we don special handling gloves to handle your treasured pictures, that way no oil from our hands will mark them.

• We know how important your project is to you so we'll let you know how it's going every step of the way eg: as soon as we receive your materials we let you know. We get in touch throughout the project as well as to tell you when it's leaving our hands to go back to you.,

• Also, if we're not the best people to do your job, we'll let you know! Eg: when we're not expert in something (eg: mould removal from 40 year old slides), we'll find someone who is.

• When needed, and if you're in agreement, we work with the industry's best specialists to restore your ageing photos and transfer your old films. We also ensure the final product is duplicated for you at the highest quality and onto the highest quality media.

• We're different because we care, because we're nostalgic, because we're excited about the future and because we cherish the present. We are fulfilled by what we do and by the effect our work has on the people who are in it, who are viewing it now or who might view it one hundred years from now.

Key Members of Our Team

The work we do means we sometimes work as individuals, and we sometime work as a team. We rely on each other for quality checks and creative input, and together take a very hands-on role in all aspects of your production including research, scanning, special effect transition selection, interviewing, filming, editing, soundtrack selection, title production, design of personalised covers and more.

Anna
Founder & Producer
In addition to a background in corporate communications and desktop publishing, Anna has written numerous articles for publication, had a 40,000 word non-fiction book published, has won an Australian Writers Guild/NSW Film & Television Office Screenwriters Mentorship Award and has been funded to second draft stage for a feature film script. Her own photo albums and video tapes take up a room of their own, and she's known to get so caught up in people's projects, she laughs heartily and cries mightily while crafting them. Anna works right across the company, from playing an active part in coffee table book production to putting the finishing touches to Life Story DVD's.

Frank
Interviewer & Cameraman
You'll see from the photo taken more than 20 years ago, that Frank has been passionate about film and video for a long time! Many people think a story can tell itself, but it's not true. A story can only come to life with excellent camera, interview and supreme editing skills and Frank has all three, honed from more than 40 years behind the lens and in the editing suite. Frank has produced documentaries including “Smithy Flies Again” (a documentary about Charles Kingsford Smith) and one of his most important talents is his storytelling and editing ability…enabling him to make every project he works on an interesting, informative and entertaining tale.

Fran
Coffee Table Book Designer
Fran has an eye for design, great style and creative skills honed from years in the publications unit of a major Australian company. Her favourite books to design are travel (she's gone around the globe numerous times) and wedding albums, but family cook books come a close second! With a blend of design and organisation skills, Fran will make sure you get the custom made coffee table book of your dreams.

Pat
Voice Over
From singing at The Opera House, to recording the Manly Daily for the blind, Pat's voice is the one we use when a project is in need of commentary. Her timeless tone and flawless diction are a great match for the work we do.

Andrew
Technical Specialist
Even in a company that is all about celebrating life, someone has to focus on all the nitty gritty, hard to do, frustrating technical jobs – to ensure each project is completed in a timely and technically superior way. Andrew is responsible for everything from our master systems and web site coding, to capturing audio tracks and managing our digital sound library. He also keeps our editing network running, maintains our hardware and troubleshoots software and compatibility problems.
